The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced its fiscal year (FY)
2010 Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation. This solicitation enables federally-recognized Indian tribal governments and tribal consortia to submit a single application for all available tribal government-specific grant programs offered by DOJ. This includes tribal programs administered by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the Office for Victims of Crime, the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), and the Office on Violence Against Women.
In response to its invitation for comments on its fiscal year (FY)
2010 Proposed Plan, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has received 150 submissions. The comments addressed the spectrum of juvenile justice related programs and reflected considerable thought on the part of the respondents.
