Project Safe Neighborhoods is a nationwide commitment to reduce gun crime in America by networking existing local programs that target gun crime and providing those programs with additional tools necessary to be successful.

Weed & Seed
The Department of Justice's longest-standing community development initiative. The community based initiative is innovative and comprehensive, and is a multi-agency approach to law enforcement, crime prevention, and community revitalization. In addition to providing general guidelines. Weed & Seed, permits communities to design strategy most effective for them.
